Meet the doctor
In January of 2001, I opened Newton Wellesley Children's Doctor: a Solo pediatric practice. My main reason for establishing the Solo pediatric practice was to be able to provide genuinely individualized, high quality care for children in a family-centered, traditional office setting. I wanted to become a Solo practitioner to provide children and families true continuity of care by being there every day to address their medical concerns. Each and every family has consistent access to me as their very own pediatrician, day and night.
In my over 25 years of pediatric practice, I have seen my little patients grow and thrive into adolescence and young adulthood. Being a Solo practitioner has blessed me with close connections to my patients. The beauty of a quality, long standing pediatrician/patient relationship is that it encourages my patients to see me as another trusted person to reach out to as well as a confidant for personal, medical concerns.
This is why some of my patients continue to see me well into their college years and beyond. I continue to welcome this, as my patients often find it easier to address their medical concerns with the same doctor they've known growing up. Long term, close knit relationships with my patients are a huge part of my professional legacy as a pediatrician.

In addition to addressing the many medical conditions children have, I have deep interests in the following:

Meet our Behavioral Health Specialist
Tracey Terrazzano, LICSW
Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker
Tracey is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with a Master's Degree in Social Work from Southern Illinois University, where she specialized in Children, Youth, and Families. She brings extensive experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families across a range of clinical settings and presenting concerns.
Throughout her career, Tracey has supported individuals and families facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. Her professional background spans residential treatment programs, outpatient and school-based mental health services, group and private practice, as well as work with the Massachusetts Child Psychiatry Access Project (MCPAP).
Tracey is known for her flexible, client-centered approach, meeting each individual where they are and tailoring interventions to fit their specific needs. Her practice draws from evidence-based techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and short-term, targeted skill-building strategies.

Ally Hickey
Office Manager
Ally is an integral part of our team as office manager. Ally assists clinically when needed and typically greets families, coordinates patient care, and serves as a wonderful resource for our families. She has been with the practice since February 2019 and has been in the medical field for over 9 years.
Erin Williamson
Medical Office Assistant
Erin brings years of experience of patient care and coordination. Erin will be answering your phone calls, scheduling appointments and checking you in and out! She will also be helping clinically as needed. In her free time, you can find Erin hiking, biking and enjoying the outdoors.
